# Fluid — your work comes first. Applications follow.

## Your work comes first. Applications follow.

One shared understanding. Many ways to put it to work.

Fluid is a platform that reverses the usual relationship between your organization and its applications. It brings the concepts, rules, processes and decisions that define how your organization operates into one shared, governed home—instead of leaving them scattered across separate applications. Fluid applications are derived from that shared model, rather than coded separately around their own interpretation of the work.

Organizations change. So does their understanding of the work. A new rule arrives. A recurring exception reveals something the rules missed. People see more clearly what their customers or colleagues need. Sometimes the work has changed; sometimes the understanding was never complete.

When applications no longer reflect that understanding, adapting them becomes a separate effort. While the software catches up, people work around it.

On Fluid, the shared model can be revised as needs and understanding change. The people responsible examine the proposed revision and decide what to adopt. Until then, the existing model remains in effect. Once the revised model is adopted, Fluid applications follow.

The work changes. The software follows.

That is the fluidity.
