Fluid has a working platform beneath it, and the company around it is taking shape. We are looking for people who want to help build both.

You might contribute through engineering, design, domain expertise, research, company building or investment. What matters is the contribution you want to make—and the questions you think we should be asking.

## Early enough to shape. Real enough to inspect.

Fluid is pre-funding. The core architecture is implemented, and working software provides a concrete starting point for discussion.

There is still substantial work ahead: strengthening the platform, learning from its use, shaping the product and building the company. Joining now means helping determine how that work is done, not simply stepping into a finished organization.

## Where you could contribute

### Build the platform and the product

Engineers, designers and product thinkers can help strengthen the platform and shape the applications people work with. The challenge is to make Fluid dependable and useful—not only coherent in its architecture.

### Challenge and develop the thinking

Domain experts, researchers and systems thinkers can help test Fluid’s assumptions against the work they know. Bring a difficult case, a missing distinction or a reason the approach might not hold. Serious criticism should help shape what we build.

### Help build and back the company

Company builders and investors can help turn a working platform into a lasting business. We welcome conversations about how Fluid should reach the people it can serve, what the company needs and what should be demonstrated next.

## How we want to build Fluid

Knowledge should inform decisions, and responsibility for those decisions should be clear. We want people to contribute their expertise, question assumptions and take ownership of the work they help shape.

Intellectual honesty matters. We distinguish what exists from what is still being developed, and we expect to change our minds when evidence gives us a reason to.

Not every role or process is defined yet. Part of joining at this stage is helping establish how we work together—and the standards we hold ourselves to.
